Vestergaard Company strengthens its global tractor business with the appointment of Carsten Schimkat

Vestergaard Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Carsten Schimkat as VP Sales – Tractors, effective 1 July 2026.

The newly established role reflects Vestergaard Company's continued commitment to strengthening its global tractor business. Based at Kalmar Motor in Sweden, Carsten will be responsible for leading the commercial development of the tractor business, strengthening the global sales organization and driving closer commercial integration across the Group.

Carsten brings more than 25 years of experience from the airport ground support equipment industry. Throughout his career, he has held senior commercial and executive leadership positions, including more than 16 years with Trepel, eight years with Goldhofer, and most recently as Managing Director of SPS Airport Equipment. His extensive industry knowledge, international commercial experience, and strong customer network position him well to support the next phase of development for Kalmar Motor.
